Vision:

SLOPB’s vision is to improve livelihoods and promote greater health and food security among the poor and marginalized people including women, orphans, children and disabled.

Mission of SLOPB

SLOPB’s mission is to help provide essential services in the remote areas for improved health, and to promote grassroots organizations for economic empowerment of the target groups. SLOPB actively supports the development of grassroots organizations through capacity building so as to ensure livelihood security of poor disadvantaged people including women, ethnic minorities and disabled people to have their equal access and participation to get benefit from the Social, economic and political lives

Objectives

• To address the needs of disadvantage children, provide them such education and training in order that they may become self-reliant and contribution citizens of Bangladesh.

• To provide medical, preventive and curative and family planning services as well as health education services to the communities of SLOPB- Bangladesh program areas.

• To raise awareness of people about laws regarding rights of children and women and provide help in upholding such rights.

• To plan, organize, manage and implement programme and projects in the fields of agriculture and rural development, forestry, fishery, livestock and also innovative technology added higher value added products and services.

• To provide support and training as may be necessary for the social and economic development of the beneficiaries including provisions of micro-credit support to achieve their self-reliance and sustainable development.

• To establish, operate and maintain educational training and research institutions for promotion of education and culture of SLOPB- Bangladesh’s programme beneficiaries.

• To provide aid and assistance to the people affected by natural calamities and disasters.

• To establish, acquire and operate enterprises for income generation and employment creation of SLOPB- Bangladesh’s programme beneficiaries.

• To establish, administer and manage endowment, trust funds and other benefactions for the benefit of the people and the organization.

• To provide facilities, to foster and encourage, secure and maintain good and closer relationship and amity in and among communities and peoples of Bangladesh and other countries of the world through education, social and cultural activities.

• In furtherance of the goal of SLOPB- Bangladesh, to receive and accept gifts, grants, aids, donations or benefactions of any nature and kind whatsoever and any other assets by lawful subscription and contribution.
